In the late 1970s, Studio 54 was one of the best-known nightclubs in the world, and it played a formative role in the growth of disco and house music, as well as nightclub culture in general.
With the involvement of Elsie Yu and her team from PLAY A PART costume design & performance artists, as well as Michael Jordan Sciortino & Patrick Sciortino from XO Productions sound & set design, we will be emulating the magic for just 1 night!! We are importing DJ Jellybean Benitez from NYC who famously dated Madonna, and produced or remixed many of the Material Girl’s hits in the early ‘80s, including “Holiday,” “Lucky Star” and “Borderline,” plus his own multiple enduring tracks”...
This old-school DJ from New York is a true dance-music pioneer, a shaper of history who was also a resident DJ at the infamous STUDIO 54 nightclub in Manhattan during its heyday in the late ‘70s.
Your hosts & co-dj's for the soireée include Josh Silver (Mr. Montreal), Jojo Flores (music thrilla from Manila), and DJ Cesar Czr (all hail Cesar)!
