  • Okay everybody , it was the summer of ’81. I was working at Italian stallion pizzeria in sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go to the fun house that night when I got off of work. He told me you have to see the bean spin and hear him. I finally told him yes I will go after weeks and weeks of him asking me. LOL
We got there around 1:00 a.m. and damn it was Xanadu!!! As soon as I heard the pulsating bass thump in my chest in that place and seen the lights and smelled the famous aroma of certain substances I said to myself I am not going home tonight. LOL
    THANK YOU JOHN BEAN BENITEZ…
You are the God of disco music, the way you used to blend in those songs till the wee hours of the night and entertain us all every weekend.
